EEG electrode placement for mu wave.

From Gerwin Schalk, in BCI2000 forum (if 8 channels):
– left:   F3, C3, T7
– right:  F4, C4, T8
– middle: Cz, Pz

Valbuena 2010 motor imagery cap:
left:  FC3, C5, C3, C1, CP3
right: Fc4, C6, C4, C2, CP4
middle: AFz, Cz
reference: right ear lobe / or left?
ground (GND): AFz
Laplacian spatial filter, with C3 and C4 are central, others are surrounding

Similarity between Diana and Easy Cap:
– left:  C3
– right: C4
– middle: AFz, Cz

It seems that the important electrode positions to get mu-wave are C3, Cz, C4.
Pz can also be needed to get P300 signals.

Electrodes from frontal lobe: F3, F4, FC3, and FC4.
Electrode from temporal lobe: T7, T8
They could be needed to get redundant information.

Setelah membaca master thesis dari Irina Schierholz, ada sedikit tambahan informasi mengenai posisi elektroda EEG yang perlu kuperhatikan. Jadi tulisan sebelumnya kurevisi di sini. Akan tetapi, aku berencana menggunakan mBrainTrain, sehingga ada kemungkinan posisi elektroda jadi berbeda lagi di kemudian hari.
